Amirah Lola Mae was born on January 13,2010 at 1:50 am. She was born about 12 weeks early. This is the ongoing description of Amirah's fight for her life, and her first year of life.

Ventilator
Amirah has been removed from the jet ventilator and put on a regular ventilator. This is very very good news, and it means the steriod shots she was given are helping :). It also means we are one step closer to being able to hold our little girl.
